Why 'Geewizz'?

• GEE is for Gillian - that's me.

• WIZZ is my brain when it is creating.

• Geewizz is what I say when I've finally 
  finished creating.

Then some lovely person, like you, actually buys my creation and I feel more giddy than my background stripes are colourful.

Like most creative people, I began at a young age and I want to do it all. Though, upon leaving school
I was forced to make a living as a secretary (I learned to type on a manual typewriter and wish I still had one). Later, I retrained as a graphic designer and for my third trick, I became a primary school teacher:
a lot of transferrable skills!

 

I still teach a little, but when life dealt me lemons,
I rediscovered art and crafts and have never been happier!
